RICKEY IN HALL OF FAME

The greatest lead-off hitter of all time and my personal favorite. He's the reason I play baseball and the reason I'm an A's fan. (He played for nine teams in 25 years but his A's days were the best). He has a career batting average of .279 with 279 HRs. He stole 130 bases in 1982, has 81 leadoff homers, 1'115 RBI's, 3'055 hits and 2'190 walks. He's baseball's career leader in runs scored with 2'295, has a lifetime OBP of over .420 and a .419 SLG. He is an American League MVP and an ALCS MVP, a glove glove winner and a 10 time All Star!! He also won the world Series with the Oakland A's in 1989 and with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1993. He is simply a great player who desreves to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. Before Manny was being Manny Rickey was Rickey... this guy is awesome YES!... the man with the coolest batting stance is on his way to Cooperstown and yes I have his rookie card !!
